My client are an industry leading communications agency who specialise in prepress and premedia solutions amongst a wide range of other areas. Located in Sydney West they are part of a group of companies who dominate their market. This newly created position involves Level 1/2 Support to users across the business in a Mac environment. You will be joining a stable IT team and given exposure to a challenging role, you will need the following to be successful: Essential: - Minimum 2 years experience in similar role.
- 2+ years experience in pre-press industry.
- Expert knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat (CS3/CS4).
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Self motivated and task oriented.
Desirable: - Experience working in prepress environment a MASSIVE advantage.
- IT Certifications in relevant areas.
Responsibilities:
To organise, install, configure, maintain and upgrade computer hardware, software, archival system and output devices on both internal and external networks. To diagnose and rectify hardware or software system failures, continually communicating/reporting on the progress to clients and supervisors. To record support issues into a database and provide reports. Provide afterhours support to clients as rostered. To maintain and update documentation, mediakits and installers and to follow QA procedures and implement any changes in standards.
